Perform service actions
In the 'Services' section, you can perform various service actions.
Perform updates
To perform a file update, proceed as follows:
➤ Click on the 'File Update of Silent Brick Library' area on the 'Browse...' button.
➤ Select an update file.
➤ Click on the 'Update' button.
Perform reset
➤ The 'Reset User Interface to Default Layout' window will be displayed.
➤ To perform the reset, click on the 'Reset' button.
➤ To cancel the operation, click the 'No' button.
To perform a factory reset of the settings, proceed as follows:
The factory reset restores the entire system to factory state. All settings and data may be lost in the process.
➤ In the section 'Reset to Factory Settings and Erase All Content', select the options for the reset.
➤ If you wish to preserve the current IP configuration, check the option 'Preserve Current IP Configuration'.
➤ Click the button 'Reset to Factory Settings'.
➤ The window 'Reset to Factory Settings' will be displayed.
➤ To perform the reset, click on the 'Reset' button.
➤ To cancel the operation, click the 'No' button.
Reboot System
To reboot the system, proceed as follows:
➤ In the section 'Reboot/Shutdown Silent Brick Library', click the button 'Reboot Silent Brick Library'.
➤ The window 'Reboot Silent Brick Library' will be displayed.
➤ To reboot the system, click the button 'Reboot'.
➤ To cancel the operation, click the 'No' button.
Shut down the system
To shut down the system, proceed as follows:
➤ Click the button 'Shutdown Silent Brick Library' in the 'Reboot/Shutdown Silent Brick Library' section.
➤ The 'Shutdown Silent Brick Library' window will appear.
➤ To shut down the system, click the 'Shutdown' button.
➤ To cancel the operation, click the 'No' button.
Restart SMB and NFS services
To globally restart the services for SMB or NFS shares, use the corresponding buttons in the 'Restart Share Services' section.
