Component Storage

Risk of Crushing Due to Falling LoadsThe controller and the Shelf are too large and heavy to be handled by a single person. There is a risk of crushing limbs if the controller or the Shelf is dropped. Always handle the controller or the Shelf with two persons.

Risk of injury due to electrostatic dischargeThe device can accumulate electrostatic charges during operation, which may cause mild electric shocks upon contact. Always use an antistatic wrist strap with grounding connection or an antistatic mat with grounding cable when working on the Silent Brick Library.

Risk of property damage due to improper handlingThe components of the Silent Brick Library may be damaged if handled improperly. Only trained specialist personnel are authorized to handle the components of the Silent Brick Library.

  • Protect from light with a high UV content (e.g., sunlight, fluorescent lamps), as plastic components may become brittle due to UV exposure.

  • The optimal ambient temperature at the storage location is between +15°C and +25°C.

  • The ambient temperature at the storage location should not exceed 38°C.

  • The relative humidity at the storage location should not exceed 65%.
