Mount rack rails

Disassemble rack rails

The rack rails must first be disassembled into two parts. Proceed as follows:

• ➤ Pull the inner rail out of the outer rail until the unlock lever (32) is visible.

• ➤ Operate the unlock lever (32).

• ➤ Pull the inner rail completely out of the outer rail.

Mount internal rack rails on the controller/the Shelf

To mount the internal rack rails on the controller/the Shelf, proceed as follows:

• ➤ Position the internal rack rail on the side housing of the controller/the Shelf so that the locking pegs of the controller/the Shelf fit into the locking eyelets of the rail.

• ➤ Slide the rail forward until it locks into place.

• ➤ Secure the rails on both sides to the housing using one of the enclosed M4×4 screws each.

Mount outer rack rails in the rack

• ➤ To mount the outer rack rails in the rack, proceed as follows:

• ➤ Slide the safety mechanism (33) of the rail backward.

• ➤ Hook the rail into the rack.

• ➤ Release the safety mechanism.

• ➤ Ensure that the rectangular locking pins are properly anchored in the rack holes.

• ➤ Screw the rack rail on the front side of the rack to the locking peg.

• ➤ Screw the rack rail on the rear side of the rack with the locking screw.

Insert controller/shelf into rack

To insert a controller or a shelf into a rack, proceed as follows:

• ➤ Pull the outer rack rails out of the rack as far as possible.

• ➤ Hang the device so that the inner rack rails slide into the outer rack rails.

• ➤ Push the device into the rack until it stops.

• ➤ Operate the Unlock Lever.

• ➤ Slide the device into the rack until the locking mechanism engages.
