Risk of property damage due to improper handling Hard drives can be damaged or destroyed if their top and bottom surfaces are pressed together. Handle the hard drives only by their edges.

To eject a Brick, one of the following conditions must be met:

The Brick is not in use and has been placed into the 'Export Slot' by the connected software.

The Brick is not in use and has been set to 'Unlock for Eject' via the configuration interface.
To replace a hard drive, proceed as follows:

➤ Swipe your finger across the Brick’s touchscreen.

➤ The Brick will automatically extend a few centimeters out of the controller/Shelf.

➤ Grasp the Brick by its handle and pull it fully out of the controller/Shelf.

➤ Hold the Brick firmly by its handle (1).

➤ A: Pull the lever (8) on the back of the Brick upward.

➤ Ensure that the Brick does not unintentionally slip out of the Brick housing.

➤ B: Pull the Brick out of the Brick housing by its handle.

➤ Slide the Hard Drive Locking Mechanism upward.

➤ Pull the Hard Drive out of its slot.

➤ Insert the new Hard Drive into its slot.

➤ Close the Hard Drive Locking Mechanism.

➤ Slide the Brick into the Brick housing until it locks in place.

➤ Slide the Brick into the slot of the controller/Shelf until the automatic feeder grips the Brick.

➤ The Brick is automatically retracted by the Controller/Shelf.
